The world premiere of “P.Nokio: A Hip-Hop Musical” is at Imagination Stage’s Annette M. and Theodore N. Lerner Family Theatre, 4908 Auburn Ave., Bethesda, through March 11. The show, for ages 4 and older, re-imagines the classic Pinocchio story in Hip-Hopia, an enchanted land where people speak in rhyme, break-dance instead of walk, and listen to birds sing with the precision and rhythm of turntables and beat machines. Shows start at 1:30 and 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; check the website for additional performances. Tickets range from $10 to $22, with $10 previews this week.
