Kelleigh Cosentino of Gaithersburg received the Lido Civic Club of Washington, D.C., Matching Scholarship from The National Italian American Foundation.

Cosentino is majoring in international politics at Georgetown University.

Scholarship winners are selected based on academic merit and are academically outstanding, with an average GPA of 3.95.

Each year, the foundation awards nearly 100 scholarships that range from $2,000 to $10,000 each in the humanities, medicine, business, engineering, music, Italian language and culture and other specialized fields.
