Prime Time Athletics is a youth flag football league for boys and girls ages 5 to 14 that plays in the fall, spring, and has an indoor speed and agility training session during the winter. It is a national franchise approved by the NFL. Baseball
Four County Little League is hosting a youth pitching clinic with Paul Reddick, the Director of The Yogi Berra Museum baseball camp. The clinic is scheduled for Feb. 4 from 9 a.m. to noon at the American Legion Gold Star Post 191.
The clinic focuses on helping volunteer coaches learn how to be better pitching coaches.

Venturing Crew 460 of Mount Airy took part in the Baltimore Area Council’s Fall Rendezvous. The Crew of male and female youth ranging in ages 13 to 19, along with their advisers, camped for the weekend with 37 other crews from around the Baltimore area. Crew 460 was Carroll County’s only crew in attendance.
The Crew spent the weekend shooting handguns, canoeing, rock climbing, rappelling, performing archery and survival classes such as fire building and edible plant identification. This was followed with an awards ceremony and dance.
Venturing Crew 460 spent the following weekend assisting other area Girl Scout and Boy Scout units from Carroll, Frederick and Washington counties fill more than 23,000 bags for the Antietam Illuminations. Venturing Crew 460 is a co-ed High Adventure program for boys and girls 13 to 21. Crew 460 meets at 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the United Methodist Calvary Street in Mount Airy.
