Montgomery County police are investigating four possibly related commercial armed robberies in the last two months in Montgomery Village.

During all four crimes, a man wearing a black cloth or mask over his face walked into a store, displayed a sawed-off shotgun, asked for money to be placed in a bag he brought into the store, and received an undisclosed amount of money, according to Montgomery County police.

The last two robberies occurred at 1:15 a.m. Nov. 17 and 3:52 a.m. Nov. 30, both at the CVS at 19100 Montgomery Village Ave. in the Montgomery Village Shopping Center.

The first robbery occurred at 11:43 p.m. Oct. 12 at the 7-Eleven in the adjacent complex at 19235 Watkins Mill Road. The second occurred on Oct. 27, less than three miles northeast at the 7-Eleven at 9051 Snouffer School Road.

Police think two men may be involved.

During the Oct. 27 robbery, a witness saw two people wearing black masks outside 7-Eleven just before the robbery took place; this is the only robbery in which two people were seen.
