Brunswick volleyball, Linganore girls soccer win by Dan Feldman

Jenny Lewis' 10 kills and 15 digs led Brunswick High School to a 25-4, 25-16, 27-25, 25-23 victory over Boonsboro on Tuesday. Victoria Lohman had seven aces and 21 digs, Courtney Buchanan added seven assists and eight digs, and Kori Conerly assisted seven points.
Middletown defeats Urbana in five sets
Middletown beat Urbana, 25-16, 16-25, 25-21, 23-25, 15-8, Tuesday. Kayla Wilkinson had 24 assists, six aces and six digs for Middletown (4-7). Devan DiMatteo had seven kills, nine digs, an ace and a block. Anna Cholewczynski added six kills, four digs, two aces, a block and an assist.
St. John's in four sets
St. John's beat Baltimore Lutheran, 19-25, 25-11, 25-12, 25-20 on Tuesday. Kathy Acosta registered four kills, Daniela Ilijic dug four and Karalynn Lally added seven assists.
MSD sweeps Pa. school
Maryland School for the Deaf beat Mercersburg Academy (Pa.), 25-22, 25-23, 25-23, Tuesday to improve to 26-4.
Girls soccer
The Linganore High School girls soccer team won its 10th game of the year, its most victories in more than a decade, by defeating Century, 2-0, Tuesday.
Rhianna Lapen saved nine shots in her third shutout of the year.
Meghan Martin and Tiffany Burba scored second-half goals, assisted by Dani Barger and Suzanne Kuhrmann, for the Lancers (10-3).
Gov. Thomas Johnson 4, Westminster 3
Emily Gargulio, assisted by Erin Jeanneret on a corner kick, scored in overtime to give the Gov. Thomas Johnson girls soccer team a win over Westminster.
Jeannerett, Katie Wareham and Destiny Ferguson scored in regulation. Kerry Knauss assisted two goals.
