Police are asking residents for information in connection with an armed robbery early Monday at a Fort Washington McDonald’s restaurant.

Around 1:30 a.m., two men robbed the fast-food restaurant 996 East Swan Creek Road, each armed with a handgun, said Cpl. Henry Tippett, a Prince George’s County Police Department spokesman.

Tippett said police are investigating the incident, but do not have details about the possible identities of the suspects. No arrests had been made as of Tuesday, Tippett said.

Police are offering a $1,000 cash reward to anyone who can provide a tip that leads to an arrest and indictment.

Residents with information on the robbery may call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Robbery Unit at 301-772-4905 or call Crime Solvers anonymously at 1-866-411-8477. Police said residents should refer to case number 11-290-0122.
