The Chelsea School in Silver Spring and the Brewer Foundation will host a public information session for Beacon College, the only accredited college offering bachelor’s and associate’s degrees exclusively for students with learning disabilities.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Crown Plaza Hotel, 8777 Georgia Ave,, Silver Spring.

Beacon College serves students with ADD and ADHD, auditory and visual processing differences, dyslexia, expressive/receptive language deficits, gifted LD, language-based learning disabilities, reading/writing disabilities, and math disabilities. The school offers degrees in liberal studies, human services and computer information systems. The school is in Leesburg, Fla.
