It was the second year AVSI has participated in the walk. AVSI employees, family and friends came out to Regency Furniture Stadium to walk in memory of Neal “Handsome” Drinkard. Team Handsome Dad had 12 participants and surpassed its fundraising goal. “As big things often start out very small, AVSI hopes to see their fundraising efforts increase substantially over coming years in order to increase funds for Alzheimer care, support and research,” said Sheila Drinkard-Zattau.
