One male was found dead following an early Monday evening shooting in the Chapel Oaks section of Capitol Heights, according to Prince George's County Police.

About 5:20 p.m. police responded to a call of a shooting and discovered a male dead from a gunshot wound in the 4700 block of Leroy Gorham Drive, a police release states.

Details of the shooting are still under investigation.
