In [a recent] Gazette, Council Member Nancy Navarro refers to Help Save Maryland as an anti-immigrant group. Nothing could be further from the truth. I am an immigrant and member of HSM, as are dozens of other immigrants and minorities. HSM objects to illegal immigrants, and to Casa of Maryland and the Montgomery County Council's insistence on financing illegal immigration at taxpayers' expense. I encourage Navarro to attend a HSM meeting to hear the concerns of this vibrant and diverse group of her voting constituency.
