Player of the Year

Anna Struhar, Century, Sr., P

The Shenandoah Univ.- bound senior was 10-4 with 112 stikeouts in 84 innings with an 0.92 ERA. Batted .424 with four homers and 24 RBI.

Coach of the Year

Jay Seaburg, Century

Led a team chock full of underclassmen back to the Class 2A State Semifinals, picking up a West Region title along the way.

First Team

Kim Anders, Linganore, Jr., P

Went 10-1 with an ERA of 0.35, over 100 strikeouts and 14 RBI.

Casey Burtner, Middletown, Jr., INF

Batted a team-leading .439 for the Monocacy Valley Athletic League Piedmont champs.

Jade Bowins, TJ, So., INF

First team All-MVAL Chesapeake Conference pick batted a scorching .507.

Alli Chew, Linganore, Jr., OF

A fleet-footed defensive standout for the Class 4A West Region champs.

Michelle Clapp, TJ, So., OF

Belted four homers with 21 RBI while batting .439.
