Took the Monocacy Valley Athletic League’s Antietam Conference, Frederick County, 2A-1A West Region and state titles in the pole vault (13 feet, one inch).

Coach of the Year

Don Boyer(Middletown)

Led boys to both the MVAL Piedmont Conference, 3A-2A West Region titles as well as the 3A-2A state team championship.

First team

Ben Horner (Brunswick, shot put)

Won the Frederick Co., MVAL Antietam and 2A-1A State crown.

Matt Kepler (Middletown, pole vault)

Captured the MVAL Antietam, 3A-2A West Region and state championships.

Nick Hruch (Liberty, high jump)

All-Around athlete won the Carroll County, MVAL Piedmont, 2A-1A Region and state crowns in the high jump.

Urbana 4x800 relay(Danny Mulhern, Nick Huang, Ellery Murdock and Nick Stine)

Took gold at the 3A-2A state meet in a time of 8 minutes, 23.67 seconds. Also placed first in Frederick Co. and West Region.

Eric Liberatore (Liberty, 1,600 meters)

Bagged the Carroll County, MVAL Piedmont, 2A-1A Region and 2A-1A state titles.

Brent Dawson (Century, 800)Kicked his way to Carroll, MVAL Chesapeake and 2A-1A state titles.

Jacob Wright (Linganore, pole vault) Finished third in the state with a personal best 13-foot effort.

Jimmy Harris (Middletown, high jump)

The Frederick County and 3A-2A West Region titlist.

Dylan Bernard (Urbana, 3,200 meters)Frederick and MVAL Chesapeake champion.

Nick Stine (Urbana, 800)

Frederick, MVAL Chesapeake and 3A-2A Region gold-medal winner.
