I grew up in a small town in upstate New York and went to a small high school, proceeding on from there to a small college, Mercyhurst College (now Mercyhurst University) in Erie, Pa. I majored in studio art and graphic design. After college, I got a few jobs in various service industries before being hired by The Gazette as a news clerk. In addition to creating graphics for the newspapers, I handle letters to the editor, oversee office resources and occasionally do some reporting. I enjoy supporting my Gazette co-workers and our readers.
