I’ve been at The Gazette since January 2012, covering county government and the town of Middletown. Before that, I covered Middletown, Brunswick, police and the county’s court system. Before coming to The Gazette, I was a staff writer at the Carroll County Times in Westminster, where at various times I covered police and courts, the city of Westminster and the General Assembly. I got my undergraduate degree in Communication-Journalism from Shippensburg University in 2003, and a master’s degree in Journalism and Public Affairs from American University in 2006.
