For close to a decade,The Barclay Brass has performed in the DC metro area performing genres from patriotic and classical to ceremonial and seasonal. From the Pope to the President, members of the Barclay Brass have performed for some of the highest profile and dignified ceremonies.They will present an afternoon of classical ,traditional favorites, original works for brass quintet and family -friendly joyous works for the holiday season.Karl Sweedy,Trumpet, has performed with the Haddonfield, Harrisburg, Maryland, Alexandria ,Prince William Symphonies and Concert Artists of Baltimore. Karl is currently a member of the United States Air Force Band in Washington, DC and the Barclay Brass.Mike Bosh,Trumpet,performs regularly with the National Symphony Orchestra and is a member of the US Air Force Ceremonial Brass.Brett Miller received his DMA in French Horn performance from the University of Maryland &earned his MM from Indiana University. His recent CD release, "The Underside of Orange," features eight original works composed and performed by Brett.Willie Clark, Tuba, holds a Bachelor degree form Univ. Od Illinois& Master degree from Univ. of Georgia He is the tubist for the National Philharmonic , a founding member of Barclay Brass. .Aaron Moats,Trombone, hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Eastman and a Master of Music degree from the University of MD. performed with the National Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, Wolf Trap Opera Company, Baltimore Opera Company, River City Brass Band and the Washington Symphonic Brass, among others.
