Fairfax Symphony: Chamber Works by Mozart, Varese, Britten and Shostakovich

The Fairfax Symphony, conducted by Christopher Zimmerman, continues the celebration of Benjamin Britten’s works. Tenor William Hite joins the FSO to perform Britten’s Nocturne. The program includes the brilliantly delicate Mozart Symphony No. 27 and Varese’s rhythmic Octandre. One of Shostakovich’s rarely performed symphonies will round out the program.
