This popular orchestra, a focal point of musical life in Israel, makes its Center for the Arts debut while on its first tour of the United States. Under the baton of Boguslaw Dawidow, the orchestra brings a spectacular evening of music that includes the familiar melodies of Mozart's Symphony No. 40 in G minor and the warm sounds of Dvořák's Symphony No. 9 in E minor From the New World, as well as Israeli composer Uri Bracha's Melodies for Mount Carmel, with virtuoso violist Avshalom Sarid.
