In 1910, Mary Baker Eddy was one of the most famous Americans of her day. She had healed hundreds of people through prayer, founded a worldwide church, a Publishing Society, and The Christian Science Monitor, a Pulitzer-Prize winning newspaper that today publishes news 24/7 on csmonitor.com, as well as a weekly news magazine.
