On Thursday, February 28, 2013, the U.S. General Services Administration's (GSA) National Capital Region (NCR) will host its fixed price sale, providing the public with discounted surplus government property. NCR's Surplus Sales Center in Springfield, Va., holds a fixed price sale every second and fourth Thursday of each month, where members of the general public can purchase office furniture and computer equipment at wholesale prices. Surplus property for sale includes hundreds of lots of furniture and equipment such as laptops, CPUs, monitors, televisions, printers, chairs, sofas, file cabinets, desk, and bookcases. Buyers must be 18 years of age or older. Payment and removal of property is due on the day of sale by cash, checks, credit cards.
