"Recently a theory that quilts were used as signals on the Underground Railroad has spread like wildfire to become widely held as historical fact." Come hear noted local historian Susan Soderberg give a descriptive presentation of the history of quilting in America, history of the Underground Railroad and a surprise ending with an entirely new theory. Program is sponsored by MC Historical Society and MC Public Libraries.
