There are three walks: 11km Gold Mine, rated 1C; 10km and 5km both, rated 1B. All trails use the towpath, a hard natural surface, and go to the observation deck at Great Falls and out to Olmsted Island to view the falls.

The 11km goes to the abandoned gold mine. Only the 10km and 5km walks are suitable for wheelchairs or strollers. Restrooms available in the Great Falls National Park, and port-a-johns are at the VFW and Old Anglers Inn area.

Pets are allowed; must be leashed at all times.
