Welcome to the Gazette P&B Exceptional 53 business awards competition. This is the first year of the competition and we are organizing this event to honor the most exceptional businesses in the State of Maryland. Why did we pick fifty-three businesses to honor? Because fifty-three rhymes with P&B and we wanted to include those extra three companies that always wish they made the list; that’s why!

Here are the simple rules:
  1. Businesses must be located or headquartered in the State of Maryland.
  2. Public and private companies may enter.
  3. Must be in business a minimum of three years.
  4. Only use revenues and employee growth generated in Maryland.
  5. Deadline: Application must be received by 11:59 pm, August 8, 2008.
